GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
- Always follow the care instructions provided on the garment label.
- Wash items only when necessary to maintain the structure and properties of the fabric.
- Use gentle detergents and avoid bleach.
- Air-dry garments whenever possible.
- Store clothing in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
OUTERWEAR
Our outerwear is crafted from high-quality fabrics containing natural wool. Such materials are known for their durability, thermal insulation properties, and diverse textures, yet they require regular care to maintain a flawless appearance.
During wear, pilling or slight matting of the nap may occur on the fabric surface. This is a natural characteristic of wool products and does not affect the quality of the fabric. To keep garments looking tidy, we recommend periodically removing pills using a special fabric shaver or a wool brush.
To restore the fabric structure and smooth the nap, we recommend using a steamer. Periodic steaming helps remove creases, refresh the garment's appearance, and maintain the sharpness of its tailored lines.
After wearing, we recommend leaving the garment on a hanger for a few hours so the fabric can naturally recover its shape. For long-term storage, use sturdy hangers of the appropriate size and a breathable garment bag.
When necessary, we recommend professional cleaning in accordance with the information provided on the garment label.
NATURAL FABRICS
Garments made from wool, cotton, linen, and other natural fibers require careful handling and are particularly valued for their comfort, breathability, and organic texture.
Natural fabrics may crease during wear—this is a natural property and a sign of the fibers' organic origin. The degree of wrinkling depends on the fabric composition, the design of the piece, and conditions of use.
At NOVE, we value the raw beauty of natural materials. That is why we believe that the light creasing of linen, cotton, or wool is not a flaw, but part of the fabric's character.
We do not strive for an overly perfect look. On the contrary, the natural texture, soft folds, and living quality of natural fibers give clothing a distinct expressiveness and highlight its authenticity.
If desired, the garment can be easily refreshed with a steamer; however, in many cases, natural fabrics look wonderful even without additional steaming, maintaining their naturalness and effortless elegance.
KNITWEAR
Knitwear is best stored folded to prevent stretching.
